Business in Russia

2020: Participation in TAdviser IT Asset Management 2020 Conference

Ivanti became a partner of the Online conference TAdviser"IT Assets Management 2020," which will be held on July 15, 2020. Based on the company's many years of experience in this area, as well as personal project experience, Ivanti consultants focus on getting the maximum value from various approaches in IT asset management. They will talk about the concept of working with assets at all stages of their life cycle, the relationships with IT and business services, as well as the integrated use of ITAM and ESM systems.

In 2019, Ivanti conducted a major sociological study in the field of asset management. In a survey of IT professionals from medium and large companies in various business sectors from Europe, Asia and America, we got interesting data. Thus, 43% of respondents admitted that they still use spreadsheets to record assets (despite the existing systems), and over 50% of respondents spend time repairing equipment that are guaranteed, since they do not have information about this. At the same time, respondents claim that due to the lack of all current data on assets and those responsible for them, or due to the fragmentation of the information stored, specialists spend more than 10 hours a week searching for and checking them.

"Despite the fact that the study was conducted outside Russia and the CIS countries, we believe that it is also relevant for us. That is why to maximize efficiency and value from the asset management process, it is not enough to perform only regular inventory or to monitor the license balance. The company's costs and revenues depend on both hardware and software and the quality of internal and external services. By combining information into a single source, you will get a complete picture of your assets, and therefore you will be able to assess and minimize risks, calculate budgets and optimize the company's work, "said Melnikov Dmitry, director of Ivanti Russia, CIS, Georgia and Mongolia.
