2015: Sale of Alliance Global Services of Epam company

On November 15, 2015 the software maker of Epam announced purchase of Alliance Global Services. The price of the transaction is not set.

According to the statement of Epam, due to this acquisition the company expects to expand the opportunities in North America and India, to strengthen examination in the field of software development process automation, to interact more closely with North American clients and to increase network of global development centers at the expense of two new Alliance Global Services located in the Indian cities of Hyderabad and Pune.

"The agreement between Alliance Global Services and EPAM has for us a strategic importance — the president and the chairman of the board of directors of Epam Arkady Dobkin says. — We work in the same industries and we share the similar production principles therefore our clients will get obvious advantages of expansion of our services in the Pacific Rim. And we will purchase an opportunity to strengthen the leader's position in the market of development of difficult custom software products and platforms".

The head of Alliance Global Services John Kastelmen told that entry into the structure of Epam will allow his company to increase further customer service quality which number grows.

Due to the sale of Alliance Global Services the company management reviewed the forecast for its revenue, expecting it at the level of $905 million in 2015 against $730 million the previous year. The developer did not specify the former forecast.
