Ducat Place II was built in 1997, its area is 19 thousand square meters. It was owned by the Finnish investment company Sponda - it bought it in 2008 from London & Regional Properties. In 2022, the business center was sold to Retam.

Rent 1 sq. m in Ducat Place II per year can be 32-36 thousand rubles, said NF Group partner Maria Zimina. According to the head of the department for work with office premises Ekaterina Belova, the lease does not exceed 28 thousand rubles. Thus, renting the premises of the Central University will cost TCS Group 420-540 million rubles a year. Probably, the group will have to carry out repairs and redevelopment of the BC, as well as make additional investments to organize classrooms, laboratories and libraries.

Vedomosti writes that the deal to lease space in Ducat Place II became the most expensive in the office real estate market in 2023.[1]

The STEM model (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) on which the university will work is to combine science, technology, engineering and mathematics to create a holistic approach to learning.

The STEM model is based on such principles as: focus on solving problems, the ability to use creativity and work in a team, honing communication skills, as well as the development of critical thinking, noted in the Tinkoff group.

It is argued that the university is designed to combine the experience of the best physical, mathematical and technical universities in the country and the business expertise of the largest employer companies to create highly qualified personnel. Upon graduation, students will receive a state-issued diploma in the field of "Mathematics and Computer Sciences," the press service reports.

The first undergraduate stream starts in September 2024. The university will include 500 students and 55 teachers. Master's programs will be launched in 2023.[2]
