2025: Conclusion of an agreement on the construction of a data center in the Nizhny Novgorod region
The state corporation Rosatom will build a data processing center in the Nizhny Novgorod region as part of an agreement signed on June 3, 2025 between JSC Atomdata-Innopolis and the Regional Development Corporation. The project is planned to be implemented in three stages until 2031.

RosatomThe Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin noted that the signed document confirms the agreements reached in January 2025 at Rosatom Day. He called the project extremely important for the region implementing ambitious IT initiatives.
Igor Ishchenko, General Director of the Regional Development Corporation, stressed that the region needs to increase computing power for further development. He stated that the new data center will improve the security and operability of existing electronic services. Ishchenko promised to make every effort to successfully implement an important project for the region.
General Director of JSC Atomdata-Innopolis Salavat Rakhmatullin explained the choice of the Nizhny Novgorod region for the implementation of the project with a developed scientific and technical base and the presence of qualified personnel. He stated that the construction of the data center will strengthen the position of the region as one of the centers of the country's IT-Innovations.
Atomdata-Innopolis is part of the state corporation Rosatom and specializes in creating a digital infrastructure. The organization is developing data centers and other information technology facilities to meet the needs of government and commercial entities.[1]
