2024: Product Announcement

On April 22, 2024, it became known that an aircraft-type drone with vertical take-off and landing was developed in Russia. This drone has a long range - it is capable of flying up to 300 km.

According to reports, CNews the drone was created in Innopolis University"," and one of its first customers was the agricultural holding Lazarevskoye"." Drone designed to monitor fields, as well as agro-scouting tasks - independent control of the state of crop development in agricultural production. According to the head of Lazarevsky Christina Romanovskaya, the use of UAVs and artificial intelligence technologies increases the quality of management information, reduces the cost of crop production by optimizing costs, and also leads to an increase in yield due to more efficient use of the land fund.

Drone Innovtol-3

The drone is assembled mainly on domestic components, including software and satellite navigation tools. At the same time, a multispectral camera and lidar are purchased from foreign suppliers "due to the lag of Russian developments in this direction." In addition, motors are purchased abroad, "since this is a consumable UAV and its cost on the import market is lower."

The device has a curb weight of up to 30 kg. It can fly on its own along a given route or be manually controlled. The drone is equipped with noise-resistant electronics and real-time data analysis tools on board. Lidar allows you to capture the state of crops in 3D format as a "point cloud." Comparison of data obtained at different time periods makes it possible to determine the volume of vegetative mass (mass of the above-ground part of the plant in the period before fruiting) of plants in fields at each moment and its increase.[1]
